Dr. Adam Skinner

Senior Research Fellow / System Dynamics Modeller, Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney

Dr. Skinner is a Research Fellow with the Brain and Mind Centre’s Systems Modelling, Simulation & Data Science group at the University of Sydney. He has expertise in the development of computer simulation models designed for use as decision support tools by health policy makers, and more than 10 years' experience in the analysis of complex data sets using advanced statistical methods. Dr. Skinner is currently leading the development of several mental health services and suicide prevention models that can be used as 'what-if' tools to support decisions about how best to allocate resources to regional and national programs aimed at reducing suicidal behaviour, particularly among adolescents and young adults.
