Event Agenda

Young people’s health and wellbeing have gained even greater importance in the youth sector and policy discussions in recent years.

As Botnar Foundation, a Swiss philanthropic foundation working to improve the health and wellbeing of young people living in cities around the world, underlines "our cities are changing. By 2050, as much as 70% of the world’s population will live in urban areas, and as more people move to cities to find a better life, millions of young people are growing up in cities that aren’t ready to support their health and wellbeing".

We will learn from the direct experience of the Chief Programme Officer for Fondation Botnar, Alexander Schulze, who, together with his organization, is working to improve the wellbeing of young people in growing urban environments around the world.

The session will be facilitated by the Chair of the LSS, Prof. L. Suzanne Suggs.
