Sibylle Obrecht Lösch, Lic. Phil.

Sibylle Obrecht is a project coordinator at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in Basel, Switzerland. Since 2017 she has been working for the SSPH+ Summer School in Public Health, acting as contact person for the Swiss Agency and Cooperation fellowships and member of the Steering Committee.

In her coordination work she draws from her project and administrative experience gained in and outside academia, inter alia as a freelance publicist (Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences, Raiffeisen Schweiz), as a research and teaching assistant (University of Basel, Institute for Cultural Studies and European Ethnology), and as an administrative assistant (University Hospital Basel, municipality of Riehen). Her main areas of interests are Science and Technology Studies, History of Science, and Medical Anthropology.
