Prices vary by participation mode and participant category.

Participation mode:

  • Online participation: access to online and hybrid courses only
  • ‍On-site participation: access to on-site and hybrid courses

Participant categories:‍

  • Regular participants: standard rate
  • PhD/Master’s students (including medical residents) from non-partner institutions & participants from Upper-Middle Income Countries (UMICs): discounted rate
  • Participants from Low- & Lower-Middle Income Countries (LMICs): discounted rate
  • Students and staff of LSS partner institutions (USI, SUPSI, Swiss TPH, SSPH+, including SSPH+ IGC PhD students): discounted rate

The on-site pricing includes: the fee for one 3-day course, participation in the plenary session, and participation in scheduled on-site/hybrid networking events/workshops.

Additional Information

  • HICs, UMICs, and LMICs are defined according to the World Bank classification.
  • Plenaries are free and open to public.
  • In case of onsite participation, some facilities offer special prices for LSS participants. Find out more in the FAQ section.

Scholarship Opportunities

  • A limited number of online, hub, partial on-site, and full-onsite scholarship are available for courses.
  • The scholarship call for the 2026 edition will open in January 2026 - new budget permitting.

Registration and Cancellation T&C

  • The registration of participation is binding.
  • If you have to cancel your registration before August 1st, 30% of the total fee will be retained. If you have to cancel your registration after August 1st, no refund will be made.
  • The participation fees are owed upon registration. If payment is not received within the set timeline, we cannot guarantee the spot.
  • If you are eligible for a discount code but you do not ask for it before registration, the discount will not be applicable afterwards.
  • Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.
  • The course program may be subject to changes.
  • Payments will be refunded if the course will be cancelled by the organizer. In that case, the organizer will have no further liability to the client. Registrations remain valid should the format change.
