The Federal Office for the Environment is the Swiss environmental agency, a division of the Federal Department of Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications. FOEN provides scholarship for the course "Is breathing killing us? Tackling air pollution using science for policies to protect health.
The Mental Health Network Switzerland (Netzwerk Psychische Gesundheit Schweiz NPG – Réseau Santé Psychique Suisse RSP – Rete Salute Psichica Svizzera RSP) is a national initiative for the promotion of mental health, the prevention of mental health problems as well as for suicide prevention in Switzerland. In order to achieve its mission, the Mental Health Network Switzerland has - over the last 10 years - gathered a large network of members – over 480 organisations (private companies, national and cantonal organisations, academic institutions) that are active in the area of mental health promotion. The Mental Health Network Switzerland organises congresses, workshops and round tables for specialists in the field of mental health promotion. The aim of those measures is to further the exchange of information and experience in projects concerning mental health therefore making innovative ideas known and accessible and promoting synergies. Funding organizations and members of the steering committee are: Federal Office of Public Health, Federal Social Insurance Office, State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, Conference of Cantonal Health Directors, and the foundation Health Promotion Switzerland.
