About
: The changes we are facing in our century present both challenges that hinder the effectiveness of public health and opportunities that can drive positive change. Among these challenges, prevention is one of the priority areas at the center of the global health agenda. The great expert Antoine Flahault will guide us through the challenges and opportunities that prevention can offer to public health.

Moreover, health disparities also remain a major challenge for public health. In fact, many regions of the world face unequal access to healthcare services, which result in inequities in health outcomes. The seasoned expert Nathalie Jean Baptiste will talk about equity as a global health challenge and what we can/should do about it, highlighting some real-world examples from her work.

To reach Global Health and build a healthier future for all we need a coordinated action which aims at prioritising prevention and reducing disparities.

The Chair of the Summer School, Prof. L. Suzanne Suggs, will welcome participants and facilitators in Lugano and online and give an overview of the general programme.
