Lucia is a medical doctor with over 20 years of experience in the field of global health with a focus on scaling up interventions for infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, and conducting implementation research in health. Originally from Spain, Lucia holds a Medical Degree from the University of Oviedo, Masters in Global Health Policy from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health from the University of Basel. Lucia is driven by increasing health in populations across regions and creating teams that achieve the same objective.
