Prof. Paulo Gonçalves

Paulo Gonçalves is Professor of Management Science and System Dynamics at USI Lugano. He holds a PhD from MIT Sloan School of Management and has extensive experience applying system dynamics to public health, humanitarian logistics, and policy design. His work spans migration, health systems, epidemic response, and capacity development in low- and high-income settings, including collaborations with international organizations and government agencies. His teaching emphasizes model-based learning, feedback thinking, and the translation of complex systems insights into actionable policy discussions.
