Robert Grant

Robert is a statistician from the UK with particular interests in Bayesian methods, data visualisation and health care applications. Since 2017, he mostly works freelance, providing training courses and consultancy. His clients include the World Bank, Harvard Medical School, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, and The Economist. He teaches three courses for the Royal Statistical Society each year. He is also a senior lecturer at Kingston University, teaching each winter on the MSc course in Data Science. His book, "Data Visualization: charts, maps and interactive graphics," was published by CRC Press in 2018 and he is now working on "Bayesian Meta-Analysis: a practical introduction" with Professor Gian Luca di Tanna. Previously, Robert was a senior research fellow at St George's Medical School in London, and a statistician and project manager at the Royal College of Physicians, where he worked on several clinical audits and clinical guidelines for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
