Dr. (DVM, MIH) Zuleka Ismail Mader

Dr. Zuleka Ismail is Food security and Climate change officer with Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.  She has 10 years of experience in executive leadership, strategic planning and policy making, development programming and management, and humanitarian response.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Zuleka served as Head of Sub office a.i for Jigjiga Somali Region, Ethiopia with World Food Program where she was also responsible for overall program coordination.

Dr. Zuleka has also served in several positions in INGOs supporting country programmes in Ethiopia with special focus on humanitarian assistance, Food Security & Livelihood, Public Health, Partnership Engagement, Knowledge and Project Management as well as Public Policy Development.
