Prof. Luca Crivelli, PhD

In addition to his role of Director of the Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care (DEASS) at Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana (SUPSI), Luca Crivelli is Professor at the Faculty of Economics of Università della Svizzera italiana (USI). His competences and expertise are in the field of public health, health and social policies, health insurance economics, and political economy.
From 1999 to 2014 he has been scientific director of the MAS Net-MEGS and from 2008 to 2014 of the Summer School in Public Health Policy, Economics and Management. For 3 years he has been a member of the LAMal Commission of the CDS. Since 2012 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale and since 2013 a member of the group of experts accompanying the national health policy strategy "Sanità 2020".
In July 2021, he became member of the Executive Board of Swiss Academy of Medical sciences.
Finally, Crivelli is a member of the editorial board of the following scientific journals: Health Policy, Health Policies and International Journal of Public Health.
